Our Snow Leopard friends have been hunted to near extinction, leaving between three and five thousand left walking this Earth with us. They are native to the mountains of Central Asia where their fur and body parts are high in demand for money.
Against all odds, this beautiful animal has and continues to survive. They teach us to face our fears and not be intimidated by obstacles on our path. Keep going despite how things may appear.

Barb Cote's deep love and respect for Mother Earth speaks loudly through her drawings. They are created from visions she receives from Spirit. She learned later in life that she is of Metis descent/Ojibwe lineage. It was like her whole life finally made sense.
