Artist's Description

DREAMWEAVER ~ Babs '13
Our spider friends remind us to be present and aware of the web we are weaving in our lives. While it weaves with a silk thread, we humans weave with our actions and words. Spider ensures there is balance in the web and comes to remind us of this, and to make use of the unique creativity that lies within us all individually.

It is said that Grandmother spider wove the web of the dreamcatcher, where only the wanted dreams would stay with the dreamer, and the unwanted dreams would be burned up by the morning sun.

"We did not weave the web of life, we are merely a strand in it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves." ~ Chief Seattle
