'SPIRIT OF THE ARCTIC' ~ Babs '15
Our beluga whale friends are extremely social and curious creatures. Their white bodies speak of innocence, purity and the North direction. These beautiful creatures spend the summer months in Arctic waters. They have a strong relationship with the Inuit people who continue to rely on them for sustenance.
They teach us to remain social and playful in our lives despite difficult conditions and to remember our own 'true north'. They remind us to be generous with what we have whether that be knowledge, peace, laughter or bounty.
About Barb Cote
Barb Cote's deep love and respect for Mother Earth speaks loudly through her drawings. They are created from visions she receives from Spirit. She learned later in life that she is of Metis descent/Ojibwe lineage. It was like her whole life finally made sense. Barb is extremely proud to have the blood of her red Ancestors racing through her veins and fueling her soul. Barb was born and raised in the small town of Cobalt in Northern Ontario, Canada however has lived the most part of her life in Canada's Northwest Territories. She spends most of the year living a simple life in her off grid shack. Learn more about the Artist by visiting...
