Artist's Description
Our turtle friends carry their home with them at all times in the form of the beautiful shell on their back. In this way they teach us that the strength, security and sense of belonging we crave can always be found by going within.
Turtles move at their own pace which some may consider slow. While they are not in a hurry, they always reach their destination. They remind us that by living in the moment and moving with the natural flow, we will find the journey to our destination far more enjoyable and fulfilling.
Turtle has long been the symbol for Mother Earth in many cultures.
